Hmm, it would seem that it has been a
- Vivi had surgery to correct her lip and tongue tie. It went well, the results are astonishing and I really wish it had been done when we dealt with the FTT.ugh.
- Hand,Foot,and Mouth. Ugh.
- Apparently, despite what we were told, Lucy can sort of vomit. It was scary, EMS was called. It was too similar to that scary night last December. Zofran fixed her up temporarily. I love Zofran, a lot. Turns out all three girls had a never ending stomach bug.Ugh.
- Halloween was awesome. Max & The Wild Things won a costume contest at Barnes & Noble and scored some great prizes. I loved creating their Halloween look and had some awesome custom hats made by a lovely, very talented friend over at Adair to Crochet. Check her out and let her know I sent you! Vivi helped hand out candy at our church's Trunk N Treat with me to over 4,000 people. That little lady has the sweetest, biggest heart. This is going to become a yearly tradition for us.
So, those are the biggest parts Notice the liberal use of "ugh". Add in some random other colds, teething, etc. We missed an entire month of therapy between surgeries and sickness. Ooops. Hopefully, fingers crossed we will be back at it this Friday.
The Wild Things are almost 14 months now and learning how to get into more stuff every day. When people ask what it is like I tell them it was easier when they were newborns. Back then, you fed them, changed them, and snuggled. You would have 3-4 where you could get things done. Now, not so much. I get 5 minute spurts to do things, and by do things I mean frantically clean one mess while they make approximately 3832 more messes. I do not understand how that happens, but I assure you it does on the daily. Betsy is getting close to walking, in fact if she had some confidence she could do it. Lucy isn't too far behind her. Lucy is into climbing though. In and out of everything. Her specialty is waiting for me to turn my head and then attempting to climb out of her high chair.
Vivi is at the awesome stage where she is just so, so fun. I love to hear her accounts of her day at preschool. She is loving it at school, and has made some sweet little friendships. She is so opinionated on everything from what she wants to wear, to what she wants to eat, to songs she likes. It is awesome to see her developing such a quirky, spunky personality.
So, that sufficiently catches you up. I will leave you with some super cute pictures that have already been appropriately shown off, but hey they are cute.
